Mahoning Apartments is a restored elementary school situated on 10 acres of scenic/rural property that has been renovated/converted into apartments, motel rooms and extended stay rooms.
Built in 1958 and added onto in 1990, the Mahoning elementary school closed in 2011 and was purchased by Glenn & Brenda Shick in 2012. Many original parts of the school have been re-purposed back into the apartments which opened in May of 2014.
Mahoning Apartments provides safe and maintenance-free living. Single, double and handicap rooms are available. Our places-to-stay are one (1) hour north of Pittsburgh, located in northern Armstrong County & southern Clarion County near New Bethlehem PA.
